Courses Youth / Arts/Crafts -
Fall 2025

If you could build your very own city with others in your community, what would it look like? Using air dry clay, we'll imagine and build our dream community together. Learn some basic clay techniques and paint your creations before adding to the collection.

Janyesha Jackson

Janyesha Jackson has been working for Now. Make. Art. since 2025. She is a youth worker, artist, and facilitator from the historic Rondo neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their background is in youth work, where they have built a career centered on youth voice, equity, and process.

She began exploring visual art in 2020 and officially stepped into her identity as an artist after experiencing art therapy. Since then, they have developed and led art-based programming for young people, drawing on their earlier experience in performance art, including musical theater and choir.

In addition to her work with Now.Make.Art., Janyesha runs a face painting business and works as a data consultant in the youth development field.
