  • After School Ski and Snowboard

    If a section is full, please sign up for the waitlist. If we have enough on the waitlist we will try to get another bus and open registration again! Middle School After School Ski and Snowboard Club Stillwater Community Education is partnering with Afton Alps to provide an opportunity for non-competitive winter recreation for students in 6-8th grade. The Ski and Snowboard Club will leave SMS and OLMS at 3:00pm for Afton Alps and return to the schools at 8:00pm. Dates are January 8 & 29, February 5, 12 & 26, and March 4. Cost for Afton Alps season pass holders is $105 to cover transportation and supervisor costs, and non-season pass holders is $335 that covers transportation, a lift ticket and supervisor costs. If you need to rent equipment, the cost is $225/all sessions. Contact me and I will get you the form that your child will need to bring to each session for the equipment fitting staff. The form must be filled out before you go to Afton Alps. Registration opens Tuesday, October 2nd, 2024 and closes Friday, January 10, 2025 (or until the busses fill up). Place: Afton Alps Dates: (Mondays) January 13, 2025 January 27, 2025 February 3, 2025 February 10, 2025 February 24, 2025 March 3, 2025 Time: 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (3:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Afton Alps) Transportation: Busses will leave the SMS Pool Entrance and OLMS North Parking lot at 3:00 pm. They will return to SMS and OLMS in the same location at 8:00 pm. PARENTS MUST PICK UP STUDENTS AT 8:00 PM. Students do not have access to a phone. Cost: Non-Season Pass Holders: $335.00 includes six lift tickets, bus transportation and supervisor costs -OR- Season Pass Holders: $105.00 includes bus transportation and supervisor costs Rental Equipment (Skis or Snowboard, poles, helmet) $225 Food: Food is NOT provided.   • Parents Day Out @ Conquer Ninja Gyms

    Description: No School- No Problem! Drop off your kids at Conquer Ninja for 2 hours of fun andactivities. We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; all Ninja inspired obstacles! During this 2-hour event your ninja will get to practice on 40+ obstacles, compete in a warped wall challenge, and play exciting ninja games. We have all the action need to keep your ninja engaged and active!
  • Pony Baseball Driveline Pitching Clinic

    The off-season is the time to grow as a pitcher. Players will move through an on-ramping phase and into a velocity phase of training. Pitchers and other players will learn how to properly warm up and cool down. Arm care is at the center of this program. Players will use a wide range of training equipment including weighted balls, wrist weights, and plyo-balls to enhance their arm health and add velocity. Each player will have an individualized training plan. Program is for 8th -10th grade pitchers.

    This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. An active 3 days of passing, shooting, dribbling and rebounding makes this one of our most popular programs. Participants should bring appropriate clothing and a water bottle.

    Skyhawks Co-Ed Volleyball Camp

    Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of volleyball through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week your child will walk away with knowledge of volleyball along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. Please bring two snacks and water bottle.
  • Stillwater Middle School Pony Power

    SMS – Winter Pony Power & Performance The SMS winter Pony Power & Performance program is an introduction and instructional program that focuses on strength, agility and speed. This is open to all students entering grades 5-8 who are interested in conditioning, strengthening or athletic improvement. Multiple programs are created to develop the beginning middle school athlete through the experienced athlete. Certified (CSCS) instructors will work with each student to provide the best and most appropriate comprehensive program. This is designed for all levels and abilities. All PPP participants will receive a t-shirt. Please specify t-shirt size when registering. Pony Power & Performance Components: • Games & challenges for fun and enjoyment, individual competitions, personal goal (club) challenges, individualized conditioning programming, physical activity and physical fitness, strength & power lifting instruction and technique, nutrition instruction, motivation and positive environment to build self-esteem.
