This class offers a gentle, flowing form of exercise that enhances balance, flexibility, and overall well-being. This martial art emphasizes slow, deliberate movements and deep breathing, making it accessible for all fitness levels. Participants learn a series of graceful, rhythmic postures designed to improve strength, coordination, and mental focus while reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Classes foster a sense of community as seniors connect with one another, enhancing their social engagement. With its low-impact nature, Tai Chi is an excellent way for seniors to stay active, improve their quality of life, and maintain independence in daily activities. Dress in casual, comfortable clothes that allow for freedom of movement. Sturdy shoes required - no flip-flops allowed!

Qualifying Medicare program participants (Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, Active & Fit, Renew Active, One Pass) as well as Thrive members may enroll in this class for free. To register, please call 651-351-8300. Memberships will be required and verified. If you would like to enroll, but do not have the above coverage or membership, you can still register by paying the registration fee. Register online or by phone.

All Classes will be held at Community Thread. Please check your registration to confirm if your class is held at the Bayport or Stillwater location.
