Anxious Generation Book Study

Why are so many kids today feeling anxious? In this free book study of the #1 bestseller The Anxious Generation, we’ll explore the impact of screens and social media on youth mental health and discuss practical ways to build confidence, resilience, and real-world connections. Open to parents, educators, and anyone passionate about supporting kids’ well-being. Books will be available for check out by January 15 at the Central Services office located at 1875 South Greeley Street in Stillwater during business hours. Purchase for $15, borrow for $10 deposit (refundable upon return). This book study is offered at no cost thanks to a grant from the Lower St. Croix Valley Foundation, St. Croix Valley Foundation and an anonymous donor advised fund. Books are only available for book study participants for check out or purchase.

Selena Freimark is a passionate advocate for community well-being, blending her strengths of Connectedness, Empathy, and Belief to inspire and support those around her. With a Master’s degree in Human Development, certification as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and a Grief Support Specialist Certification, she is dedicated to empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose.

She is exploring her dream of guiding individuals through mindfulness, grief, and anxiety—helping others find peace and strength in transformative ways.

In her free time, Selena enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, listening to podcasts, and reflecting on life’s deeper questions. Fueled by her Intellection and Developer strengths, she takes a warm, compassionate approach that leaves a lasting impact on everyone she meets.
