Anxious Generation Book Study

Courses Adult / Body, Mind and Spirit -
Fall 2025

Kids today are facing more stress than ever, from academic pressures to the pull of social media and screens. Anxiety is on the rise, and many parents are looking for ways to support their child’s mental well-being.

Join us for a FREE book study on the #1 bestseller The Anxious Generation. We’ll explore how modern childhood has changed and what we can do to help kids and teens build confidence, resilience, and real-world connections. Together, we’ll unpack the societal shifts behind skyrocketing anxiety and depression in Gen Z, discuss the impact of smartphones and social media, and explore practical strategies for fostering resilience.

Whether you're a parent, educator, or simply passionate about mental health, this study offers insights and actionable solutions to support the next generation.

Books will be available for check out by September 1st at the Central Services office located at 1875 South Greeley Street in Stillwater.  Office hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.

There is no charge for this class thanks to a Vibrant Communities Mental Health grant from the Lower St. Croix Valley Foundation, St. Croix Valley Foundation and an anonymous donor advised fund.
