CALM Conversations

Courses Adult / Body, Mind and Spirit -
Fall 2025

Many people at risk for suicide don’t seek professional help—but you can still make a difference. CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means) teaches practical, lifesaving strategies that anyone can use to support someone in crisis. This 90-minute workshop is ideal for individuals whose work brings them in contact with people facing tough times—such as attorneys, bartenders, landlords, or instructors. No mental health background required.

There is no charge for this class thanks to a Vibrant Communities Mental Health grant from the Lower St. Croix Valley Foundation, St. Croix Valley Foundation and an anonymous donor advised fund.
