  • Spring Sports Machines - Robotics & STEM Program

    Learn about Programming and STEM concepts while building Robotic and Engineering models with a Harvard and European Union recognized program offered by e2 Young Engineers. This program is offered in 50+ countries and are recognized as leaders in such education. In this session, your child will learn about STEM and programming concepts and will be challenged to build up to your different motorized Robotic and Engineering models using patented education kits. Your child will learn about mechanical advantage, Power and Speed Gears, transmission mechanics and more. During the class, your child will build working motorized models of a soccer ball kicking machine, frisbee launcher, American Football kicker and Golf Cart and others. Materials are reused so students do not take finished projects home.

In this session, your child will learn about STEM and Programming concepts and will be challenged to build up to four different motorized Robotic and Engineering models using patented education kits. Your child will learn about the importance of aerodynamics, elastic energy, renewable energy and others. During the class, your child will independently build working motorized models of a North Star Carousel, Xtream Swing Pirate Ship, a Maze ride, giant ferris wheel and others. Materials are reused so students do not take finished projects home.
  • Virtual - 3D Printing: Pokémon

    Design your own 3D pocket monster using Tinkercad. This course will give students an introduction to using CAD modeling & design software. Student designed Pokémon will be printed and mailed home.   • Virtual - Game Coding with Star wars

    In this class, we introduce students to programming concepts using Scratch. Learn to create an interactive 2D video game using your FAVORITE Star Wars characters. Scratch is a drag-and-drop creative coding platform developed by MIT. Additional Technical Requirements: Scratch and scratch account PC Needed (Windows or MacBook), will not work on Chromebook, tablets or phones.
  • Virtual - Minecraft Mod Dev: Lucky Blocks & Ores

    Take your game to the next level by creating your own custom Minecraft mod. This class will teach you how to create new blocks and ores for the Java Edition of Minecraft. Students will need to have Minecraft and mod creation software (free download) installed prior to class. Video instructions will be sent prior to class. Additional Technical Requirements: Minecraft Java Edition MCreator (free download) PC Needed (Windows or MacBook), will not work on Chromebook, tablets or phones.

    Learn film editing basics and how to use Hollywood-style special effects techniques. We will be teaching students how to create magical special effects.   • Virtual - Virtual Reality Coding

    Design, develop, and create 3D Virtual Reality environments and characters! Students will make their own 3D games and other virtual reality for kids on Metaverse’s new platform Hatch. Hatch is an incredibly fun and stimulating way to learn STEM! Adults will receive information on how to register for a Hatch VR account. VR programs can be viewed on most mobile phones, and VR Systems like oculus or google cardboard. You only need a laptop/computer to get started. Additional Technical Requirements: PC needed to do development work (Windows or MacBook), will not work on Chromebook, tablets or phones. To view VR, you must have an oculus or other VR glasses. Worlds can be viewed on normal PC/Phone/Tables in 3D.
