Gain an understanding of basic file management so you never again have to wonder where your saved file, document or photo went. In this online class, learn how to create folders; move, delete, sort and find files; create shortcuts; discuss file naming; and back-up files. This course is taught by a Microsoft certified instructor and may not be applicable for Mac users.
  • Drone Aerial Photography and Video

    This course is for those who want to learn more about drone-based aerial photography and video (recreational and commercial). Topics covered include rules of the road for aerial photography and video, license and registration, where to fly (and not fly), flight planning and weather, autonomous and manual modes, equipment, hardware, software and other tools. Additional topics include what type of drone and camera equipment are best, as well as accessories and post processing tools. Students aged 12-17 may attend with an adult. Weather permitting a demonstration flight will be flown. Prerequisites: Drones for Non-Dummies: Beyond the Basics, Recreational Use for Beginners or related experience.
  • Microsoft Excel 101

    This course is taught online and login instructions will be sent the day before the class. Learn the basics of Excel and get to know what it can do. We will explore navigating around the Excel screen, creating and entering data, changing the layout and formatting a spreadsheet. In this online class, you will learn how to create a formula, autofill, what to do with custom lists and how to work with functions. Handouts and step by step hands-on instruction is included.

    This course is taught online and login instructions will be sent the day before the class. Take your knowledge of Excel a little further. In this online class we will cover advanced formulas and functions throughout the spreadsheet. You will also learn how to create and use tables to allow data to be affected differently even though it is on the same spreadsheet. Handouts are included.

    This course is taught online and login instructions will be sent the day before the class. Take formula skills to the next level. Work with absolute references and settings to link cells and workbooks together. In this online class, learn logical, date/time, text and lookup functions as well as what-if analysis. Use templates to create an amortization schedule and begin other projects with re-designed templates in Excel. They'll help you jumpstart any project quickly and professionally. Prerequisite: Excel 102.

Prerequisite: Excel 103.

    This class will be taught online and login information will be sent the day before the class. Are you ready to move beyond the basic "automatic" settings? In this online class, learn some basic tips on how to get a properly exposed photo via manual mode, aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode. When used correctly, these three settings can dramatically enhance the look of your photos. This class is for users of DSLR cameras, not "point and shoot" cameras.
