  • Birthday Parties at the PAC or ECFC

    Bring your child and up to fourteen of his/her friends to celebrate their birthday at the Pony Activity Center (PAC) or Early Childhood Family Center (ECFC). Birthday groups will have access to one gym for 1.5 hours with 30 minute reserved space for cake and refreshments. There will be staff on site to assist with set up/cleanup of equipment and answer any questions you may have during the party. Appropriate supervision of children (at least 2 adults) is required and must be present  for the duration of the party. All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group. Tables and chairs will be provided for food and refreshments. Latex balloons are not allowed for birthday parties due to allergies. Registration must be completed 14 days prior to party date. Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the party to receive a refund minus the $5 cancellation fee. All children attending the birthday party will need a signed waiver turned in before the birthday party begins. PAC Birthday Parties are intended for children ages 4-12 years of age.  Gym games and activities may include: basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, football and more. The staff will provide the necessary equipment; the host will organize and direct the party games. Parties available on select Saturdays and Sundays. Cost is $90 per party at the PAC.ECFC Birthday Parties are intended for children ages 2-6 years of age. We will provide hula hoops, scooters, trikes, play balls, small basketball hoops, gymnastics mats for tumbling, and access to our move and learn climbing town. Parties available on select Saturdays. Time of birthday party is dependent on building schedule. Cost: $155.00 at ECFC / 14 children max / 2 adults must be present for duration of party supervising the group of children.   • Home Alone

    This class focuses on building independence and awareness for children who may be ready to stay home alone for short periods of time. We will cover aspects of personal safety while home alone. Class includes at home materials that need to be done with your parents/guardians before you begin to stay home alone. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend the last five minutes of class to hear what we went over in class. 
  • In the Spotlight, Acting Out!

    Join us for this exciting journey into the theatre arts for grades 2-3. We’ll be using our bodies, voices and imaginations to create different characters, places, and situations in building our acting and improvisation skills.  We’ll explore emotions, create stories and act them out, play with theatre props, puppets and masks, and learn new theatre games. This class ends in a showcase presentation the last 30 minutes of our final class. There is no admission cost. 
  • Jazz & Hip-Hop

    In this jazz & hip-hop class we will explore popping, locking and floor work and the technique jazz and hip-hop dance. Get ready to move and groove to some fast and funky tunes! As always, we will provide age appropriate choreography and music. 
  • Middle School Drama Club

    The Middle School Drama Club is open to any student interested in learning more about theatre. Students will build their performance and theatre skills in this fun and interactive environment. Some opportunities may include: acting technique, character development, monologues, scene work, technical theatre, auditioning, masks, stage makeup, puppetry, improvisation, playwrighting, and theatre games.  No experience is necessary.  Look for a separate Winter/Spring opportunity as well.  
  • Middle School Fall Play

    The fall theatre production provides opportunities for students onstage and backstage. Students must audition and casting decisions are made by the director. Look for musical opportunities in the spring. 
  • Service Trip to Feed My Starving Children

    Want to do something good for others? Spend one of your days off in service!  We will take a bus to Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids where we will be packing nutritious meals that will be sent around the globe to people in need. The $10 fee helps cover the cost of transportation and chaperones.(Please note: This event was originally advertised as a "Day of Service" event -- but has been changed to be a shorter service field trip. Times are 11:00 am- 3:00 pm)
