Baby and Toddler Outdoor Play Time 900-17C Meet new friends or connect with those you already know as you explore our outdoor play spaces with your baby or toddler. For babies, you will get some tummy time ideas and see how to set up the environment to encourage rolling, sitting, or crawling. Toddlers will have access to great movement activities that meet their need to climb and explore with their whole bodies! In our Busy Babies class you'll not only get support from our Parent Educators, you'll also connect with other parents going through similar experiences. Parents and infants do not separate in these classes. *Reminder age is based on your child's age as of Sept. 1st, 2024.

Join our ECFE Summer Class for a season of exploration and joy! Young learners and parents alike will engage in a blend of educational play, outdoor activities, and shared discovery. A portion of this class includes a parent discussion time in a separate space from the children led by a licensed parent educator while the children play in our classroom with a licensed early childhood educator and education assistant. Ages 18 mos-5 years and a caregiver Early Childhood Family Center.

Growing Physical and Emotional Regulation in Young Children 6 weeks Parents and caregivers of children ages 6 and under Virtual class meets live on Thursdays, January 16th, 23rd, 30th, Feb. 6th, and 13th from 8:15 - 9:15 pm on Thursday, Feb. 20th we will hold an optional in-person session with your children engaging in activities that support physical and emotional regulation. This in-person session will be held from 6:00 - 7:15 pm at the ECFC, Classroom 5 $75/ person or couple Supporting your child's emotional development can be overwhelming but a rewarding journey! One of early childhood's most important building blocks is teaching children to manage their emotions. Join us for discussions and learning on the different stages children go through when stressed and overwhelmed, and what you can do to support your children in finding greater self-control. We’ll discuss the impact of the caregiver’s ability to regulate, sleep needs, children’s developmental abilities, and what leads to dysregulation. This program includes five weeks of live virtual sessions for parents/ caregivers and an optional in-person session that you can attend with your child.

Embark on a holistic learning adventure with our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) class tailored for children ages birth to give. This inclusive program celebrates the diversity of developmental stages, creating a dynamic environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers flourish side by side. Registration age is based on the child's age as of Sept. 1st, with the exception of newborns born since Sept. 1st.

Play Time and Picnic Story Time Ages: 2-5 Years and a Caregiver Class Fee: $15.00 per family Story time and playtime are great opportunities for your children to socialize with other young children, while also developing cognitive, and motor skills. Be ready to sing songs and engage in fun learning activities together. After our songs and activities, we will settle down for a picnic and story time at the end of class, so please bring your lunch and a blanket. The Play Time and Picnic Time will take place at the ECFC Playground with a back up plan to move inside if the weather dictates.

Play With Me at The ECFC Ages- Birth- 5 year olds and a caregiver No Sessions on June 19th and July 3rd. Class Fee: $75.00/Family Join us for a variety of activities planned by the early childhood teacher. Grandparents and other caregivers are welcome. Registration required.

Young children are natural explorers! This class will focus on helping young children and parents explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics! Weekly activities will revolve around these STEM topics. This ECFE class will include time for parents and children to play together and a separation time where parents can discuss topics they are interested in. Join this class for a fun semester of observing and interacting with the world around us! We are unable to provide Sibling Care on Fridays for the School year 2024-25 due to staff needs in other programming.
