CHEM Pickleball CampsAthleticsCHEM stands for Character, Hand and Eye coordination, and Mind. With a background that includes competing on the professional tennis circuit, Coach has a unique perspective on the game, offering insights and strategies shaped by years of competition. His deep understanding of the game, honed at the highest levels, allows him to connect with players of all skill levels. While mastering the technical skills of tennis/pickleball is essential, success on the court also requires mental resilience and focus. Coaching tennis/pickleball isn’t just about teaching strokes and footwork, it’s about helping players develop the mindset to stay calm under pressure, think strategically, and maintain confidence, even when faced with challenges. Effective coaching goes beyond the fundamentals to include developing a player’s mental game-helping them manage nerves, staying focused, and approaching every point with the right mindset to maintain confidence, even when faced with challenges. We are so focused on strength that we forget to strengthen our focus. The more you train your mind off the field/court, the easier it is to be confident, focused, and calm when you play. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. THE WORD ITSELF SAYS I’M POSSIBLESpring Summer 2025
