  • Great MN Hot Dishes

    With February being one of the coldest months of the year, it’s the perfect time to enjoy hearty, comforting meals that are both easy to prepare and rich in flavor. Using fresh ingredients, you’ll have the opportunity to create and savor a variety of warming dishes, ideal for sharing with family or bringing to your next potluck. In this class, you’ll prepare up to 15 delicious recipes, including Beef with Pork and Sauerkraut, Pork Loin with Dried Apricots and Cherries, Beef with Spinach or Broccoli, Eggplant and Cheese, Chicken Cobbler with Carrots, Mushrooms, and Peas, Lentils with Vegetables, and Baked Penne Pasta with Chicken, Broccoli, and Mushrooms. Drawing inspiration from a variety of ethnic cuisines, these recipes are designed to be simple to prepare, a joy to serve, and perfect for those freezing winter days. A supply fee of $16 is payable to the instructor in class. Bring containers to take leftovers home.     Greek Dinner

    Create a delectable Greek feast starting with Soupa Avgolemono, a traditional lemon-flavored chicken soup that is comforting and rich. For appetizers, enjoy Saganaki, the famous flaming cheese dish, alongside a flavorful eggplant dip or spread. The main course features a twist on the classic moussaka, using zucchini instead of eggplant to pair perfectly with the rich ground lamb. You'll also perfect the art of making Spanakopita, delicate spinach and feta-filled filo pastry rolls. For dessert, indulge in Karidopita, a moist walnut cake drenched in fragrant orange syrup.   • Marvelous Macarons

    Macarons are beautiful and so fun to make! Learn some simple tricks to make the process easy. You will make three different kinds. You will bake, assemble and decorate one recipe as well as decorate and assemble the other two. A supply fee of $13 per student will be payable to the instructor in class. Please bring containers, dishcloths, and towels. For Classes at Skyview: Park in the south lot and enter through door 6, signs indicate Activities Entrance.
