Secure Attachments: Thriving Kids

Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) / Welcoming a Baby -
School Year 2025-2026, Semester 2.

Secure Attachments: Thriving Kids

Based on 50 years of research, this class aims to promote a secure attachment relationship between parents and children. You will leave this class with a deeper understanding of brain development during the first three years, including what it means to be securely attached and the impact on development, how to understand and respond to baby cues, and how to address postpartum depression, among other topics.

Geared toward those who will be welcoming a newborn through pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy in the next few months. Those who have welcomed a newborn in the last 2-3 months from the start of class may also attend. Partners are welcome to attend.
