Ready to grow your own food? Learn the simple and practical basics of vegetable gardening and get ready to grow your own fresh produce! This class covers everything you need to know to get started, from choosing the perfect spot to preparing the soil, deciding what to plant, and knowing when to harvest. You'll get excited to dig in with advice based on both University of Minnesota research and the instructor's personal successes and failures. Join us for this virtual class. 

Paul Richtman

Paul has a passion for gardening, has been growing fruits and vegetables since his youth and has been teaching Community Ed classes since 2004. He is a certified University of Minnesota Tree Care Advisor and Extension Master Gardener, specializing in growing fruits, vegetables, trees & shrubs. He enjoys teaching others what he has learned through the UMN research and best practices.
