Create one-of-a-kind pottery using stoneware clay while exploring the electric wheel, slab roller, and extruder. During the first two sessions, you’ll focus on designing and building your pieces. In the final session, you’ll add the finishing touches with rich earth-tone glazes. This class welcomes all skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced potters. Come ready to get creative, and don’t forget to bring an apron or towel! A $40 supply fee per person is due to instructor at the beginning of class.
Craig is a former elementary teacher in the Stillwater School district and has been working with ceramics for over 15 years. He has a studio in Hudson where he makes Raku, functional, and decorative ceramic pieces. Craig teaches youth, adults and adaptive pottery through Community Education.
