Swing dancing comes in many styles. This beginner-friendly class focuses on the three most popular: Single-Time East Coast Swing, Triple-Time East Coast Swing, and West Coast Swing. You’ll learn to recognize different rhythms and tempos, practice the basic steps for each, and gain confidence dancing to a variety of songs.
Tricia Schwietz is the Owner of Dance and Entertainment Studios and St. Croix Event Center. She teaches over 20 styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, & Country dancing, as well as Line Dancing. In addition to teaching, Tricia also choreographs, performs, competes, and teaches at resorts and cruises. She has been named 2023 Stillwater's Small Business of the Year, and 2012 Woodbury's Business of the Year.
