Gather your friends and Dance Partner and we'll get you ready for the dance floor! In this Beginner Wedding Dance Class, you will learn the basics of Rumba (for slower-style music), and Swing (for faster-style music). If you have a special song, we can tell you which dance style to use!
Tricia (Wood) Schwietz owns Dance and Entertainment Studios in the Twin Cities, with her main location in Woodbury, Minnesota. She teaches over 20 styles of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country Dancing to singles and couples of all ages and levels. In addition to the studios, she also teaches at several country clubs, churches, schools, community & senior centers, health & wellness programs, and galas. Tricia and local celebrities have danced in Twin Cities competitions to raise money for charity. She has also been recognized with awards including Woodbury’s "Business of the Year." In addition to teaching, Tricia choreographs, performs, and competes with her students too. Tricia loves to travel, and has taught on cruises to Europe, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and more!
