Danielle Thornton is a Community Health Education Coordinator at NAMI Minnesota, where she advocates for the expansion of comprehensive mental health services and support. In her role, Danielle leads NAMI Minnesota’s tobacco treatment education and wellness initiatives, while also contributing to vital Minnesota suicide prevention efforts. Her work is rooted in a commitment to community collaboration and empowerment, ensuring that policies are not only effective but also responsive to the needs of the individuals and communities she serves. Danielle holds a B.S. in Public Health and Community Health Education and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Global Public Health.
