7026 - SM1 Beginner/Novice Synchronized Swimming Camp (June 10-26) This class is for swimmers who would like to try the sport of synchronized swimming (aka artistic swimming). Students will learn the basic skills and techniques such as sculling, eggbeater, figures, and routine choreography. Participants should have knowledge of standard swim strokes, be able to swim the length of the pool without assistance (25 yards), or have passed ARC level 4 or comparable swimming lessons. All ages/grades are welcome. Swimmers should have goggles. A nose-clip will be provided.
7026-SM2 Intermediate Synchronized Swimming Camp (July 8 - 24) This class is for swimmers who would like to practice the sport of synchronized swimming (aka artistic swimming). Students will review and practice the basic skills and techniques such as sculling, eggbeater, figures, and routine choreography. Swimmers who have previous novice or intermediate experience are encouraged to join to prepare for and stay conditioned for the upcoming club season. Participants should have knowledge of standard swim strokes, and have at least one season of synchro experience. All ages/grades are welcome. Swimmers should have a swim cap and goggles. A nose-clip will be provided.
