With February being one of the coldest months of the year, it’s the perfect time to enjoy hearty, comforting meals that are both easy to prepare and rich in flavor. Using fresh ingredients, you’ll have the opportunity to create and savor a variety of warming dishes, ideal for sharing with family or bringing to your next potluck. In this class, you’ll prepare up to 15 delicious recipes, including Beef with Pork and Sauerkraut, Pork Loin with Dried Apricots and Cherries, Beef with Spinach or Broccoli, Eggplant and Cheese, Chicken Cobbler with Carrots, Mushrooms, and Peas, Lentils with Vegetables, and Baked Penne Pasta with Chicken, Broccoli, and Mushrooms. Drawing inspiration from a variety of ethnic cuisines, these recipes are designed to be simple to prepare, a joy to serve, and perfect for those freezing winter days. A supply fee of $16 is payable to the instructor in class. Bring containers to take leftovers home.
For classes at John Glenn, please park in the front lot and enter through Door 3N (Activities Entrance).
