Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)First, are you on the Stillwater School district database (Census)? If not, it is very important to us that we maintain accurate and up-to-date census files on all households located within our district boundaries. This includes households with newborns and preschool age children, those who attend our schools and those that have children being home schooled or attending a non-public school. The information you provide will be used to make enrollment projections, program planning, determine staffing and classroom space needs and more. Please fill out this form HERE Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a unique program that offers parents the opportunity to go to school and learn along with their child! Parents are their children's first and most important teachers. It has been proven that children whose parents are involved in their early education are more successful in school. ECFE classes provide support, information and education for parents and their children, ages birth to 5. Parents and children attend weekly classes together. Most ECFE classes provide time for parent/child interaction as well as a separation time when parents enjoy a group discussion regarding child development and parenting issues. During this time, children continue activities in the classroom with their early childhood teachers. Participant fees for most classes are based on a sliding fee scale. Classes are charged on a sliding fee scale based on income. Class fees start at $24.00 per semester and go up to $282.00 based on your income. No Minnesota family is excluded for inability to pay. Wisconsin fees reflect a non-resident rate of $298.00. Your child's age on Sept. 1st, 2021 is the age guideline for classes.Category

PreschoolOur early childhood preschool program brings preschool age children together with the goal of offering engaging, nurturing, creative learning opportunities in a safe and enriched classroom. Many of our preschool classes are integrated and in all classes, children explore, create and learn. In our Four Star Parent Aware Rated preschool program, licensed teachers provide experiences that develop the skills children need to be successful in school. Our language arts and math lessons are aligned with the district's kindergarten curriculum so our preschoolers will be well prepared. Parent involvement is a key element of children's success in school, and is a requirement of all of our district preschool classes. Preschool parents choose from a variety of parent involvement options offered by our licensed parent educators throughout the school year. PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR WILL BEGIN ON THURSDAY, JANUARY 19 @ 7 A.M. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks after registration for processing.
