    Adaptive Beginner Pickleball Lessons

    Join us for Adaptive Pickleball, a fun and inclusive program designed for individuals with special needs. This class offers a supportive environment where participants can learn and enjoy the game of pickleball, tailored to meet a variety of needs. Equipment will be provided. Our adults with disabilities, adaptive programs are designed to meet the unique needs of those that are 18 years or older with special needs. These program move at a pace that is flexible in order to meet the needs of those participating in the class. We are proud to be partnering with Valley Friendship to provide an outstanding experience for all involved.
  • Adult & Child Advent Calendar

    Prepare for the holiday season and create core memories as you and your child work together to create a cute, colorful advent calendar. You’ll love creating together, then counting down to the holiday as you add a handmade ornament to your calendar each day in December. Rate is for a family of four. If you have additional family members, please call our office. This class is recommended for children ages 2 to 9 years old.
  • Adult Pottery - Hand Building & Wheel Instruction with Stoneware Clay

    Using stoneware clay and earth tone glazes, participants will learn how to create pottery using an electric wheel, slab roller and extruder. The first two sessions are devoted to creating. The last session will focus on glazing. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. All experience levels are welcome. Participants may pick up their pottery at Central Services Building on Greeley Street. Our office will notify you when it is available. A $40 supply fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class.

  • Adult/Child Class @ Conquer Ninja Gyms

    Family Ninja Classes are for anyone 5 or older! This adult/child class is designed for both adults and kids to get moving and have fun together. You and your ninja will work together to learn how to tackle ninja obstacles, problem-solve courses, and build self-esteem! We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; all Ninja inspired obstacles! If you are looking for something different to do with your child and want to try a unique way to be active, come check this class out! *ALL fitness levels welcome! All classes are coached by an experienced Ninja Trainer. This class will be held at Conquer Ninja Gyms at 707 Commerce Dr Ste 120, Woodbury, MN 55125. Please register the adult and type the name(s) and age(s) of the child when registering.
  • Adult/Child Holiday Pottery Workshop

    Get ready for some Holiday clay fun! In this hands-on workshop, adults and children will explore the world of pottery together using real studio tools like a slab roller, extruder and electric pottery wheel. Participants will create one-of-a-kind holiday pieces and bring them to life with colorful glazes in the final class. This class is for adults and children 8 years and older. Please register for one adult and one child or one adult and two children. Classes are priced accordingly. There is a $30 supply fee for 1 adult and one child and a $45 supply fee for one adult and 2 children.

    Clinics provide group instruction focused on specific skills and based on your level of play. Each clinic will offer instruction, tips and tactics of play around those skills. Sept 8, 20, Nov 11, 22 - Kitchen Play Sept 10, 27, Nov 13 - Transition Zone Sept 15, Nov 15, 18 - Serving & Returning Sept 17, Nov 20 - All Around Level Up Specific Clinic Descriptions 1. KITCHEN PLAY - Dinking with emphasis on purpose, techniques, shifting and strategies. -Volleying with emphasis on punch volleys, roll volleys and reset volleys -Speed ups at the kitchen -Lobs and retrieval of lobs 2. TRANSITION ZONE - Emphasis on using drives and drop shots to transition from the baseline to the kitchen line. -Utilizing resets from the transition zone to move up to the kitchen. -Determine when to transition from the baseline to the kitchen and when to stay back. -We would play the 7-11 game in this session. 3. SERVING AND RETURNING - Serving with emphasis on speed, placement and variety to keep the returning team guessing -Return of service with emphasis on depth, placement and spin -Overhead smashes and retrieval (Survivor game) 4.   • Advantage Education - Self-Paced Online ACT Course

    Advantage Educational Programs, in cooperation with Stillwater Area Community Education, will provide students an opportunity to prepare for the ACT national exam through their In-School ACT Prep Course, Virtual ACT Prep Course, or their Online ACT Prep Course. All three courses are designed for students who want to maximize their ACT score, as well as students who feel uneasy about their test-taking skills or are unsatisfied with results from a previous exam. Self-Paced Online ACT Prep Course: This course is designed for students who prefer to prepare for the ACT exam on their own schedule and at their own pace. Instruction is pre-recorded and provided online, using videos and slides. Once enrolled, students may use the access code they receive to navigate through the course on their own timeline throughout the year.

    Get ready to move, groove, and learn the basics of line dancing in this high-energy, beginner friendly class! You’ll master fundamental steps, build confidence, and revisit your favorite dances each week. With no experience or partner needed, you’ll be amazed at how fun fitness can be-improving your memory, balance, and coordination while having a blast! There will be three sessions; however each session will be different, so you will learn new dances in each session! Please note that Tuesday sessions will be held from 5:00PM to 5:50PM and Wednesday sessions will be held from 6:00PM to 6:50PM.

    Beginner Pickleball Lessons

    Learn how to play pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America. The beginner course will introduce pickleball rules, body positioning, footwork, drills and doubles game strategy. Drills and strategy will focus on serves, returns, drop-shots, and dinks. The last 30 minutes of the course will be organized play. Participants can bring their own paddle or borrow one from the PAC. Prerequisites: None
  • Beginner Swing II

    Beyond the basics, you will learn a variety of lead-and-follow patterns to use in your single-time and triple-time East Coast Swing dancing. You’ll be ready to Swing dance ata variety of venues and to a variety of music genres!
  • Birthday Party at the PAC

    Bring your child and up to fourteen of his/her friends to celebrate their birthday at the Pony Activity Center (PAC). Birthday groups will have access to one gym for 1.5 hours with 30 minute reserved space for cake and refreshments. There will be staff on site to assist with set up/cleanup of equipment and answer any questions you may have during the party. Appropriate supervision of children (at least 2 adults) is required and must be present for the duration of the party. All food and refreshments are provided by the hosting birthday party group. Tables and chairs will be provided for food and refreshments. Latex balloons are not allowed for birthday parties due to allergies. Registration must be completed 14 days prior to party date. Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the party to receive a refund minus the $5 cancellation fee. All children attending the birthday party will need a signed waiver turned in before the birthday party begins. PAC Birthday Parties are intended for children ages 4-12 years of age. Gym games and activities may include: basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, dodgeball, whiffle ball, football and more. Preschool games and activities are also available.The staff will provide the necessary equipment; the host will organize and direct the party games. Parties available on select Saturdays and Sundays. Cost is $140 per party at the PAC. There is an additional $50 charge for added spaces.     Caring for a Crying Baby: Managing Stress and Building Confidence Virtual $5/ session Second Tuesday of every month, attend ONE session Sept. 9th, 1:00-1:45 pm October 14th, 1:00-1:45 pm November 11th, 1:00-1:45 pm December 9th, 1:00-1:45 pm Caring for an infant who cries a lot or has periods of inconsolable crying can be stressful. The stress can lead to questioning oneself, negative feelings toward the infant, and parental anxiety. Of course, you want to be able to soothe your baby, but sometimes, even your best efforts might not work. Join for an informational session on how to cope with caring for an infant who is a high crier to understand the why behind the crying and what caregivers can do when they start to feel frustrated or overwhelmed. This course is geared toward those who are pregnant or have recently welcomed a newborn. Infant crying is often heightened in newborns between 2 and 8 weeks of age. This one-time class will be held virtually, with packet information to be picked up at the Early Childhood Family Center a few days before the class. This class lasts roughly 45 minutes and is offered each month on the second Tuesday at 1 pm.

In this class, children ages 2-5 will embark on a journey through engaging activities that celebrate the beauty and diversity of colors. Activities such as rainbow creation, primary and secondary color exploration, and collage making will activate inner creativity and and spark your child’s interest! Sensory experiences of kinesthetic colors and playdough will enhance tactile development. Time with peers will pair colors with play and make for a great way to start your Saturday.
