The conference began three years ago, first held in Minnetonka, then Eden Prairie, and this year in Stillwater. Alexandria has agreed to hold the fourth year on 2019.

  • Ignite and Inspire Innovation 2018 Conference

    The Third Annual Ignite and Inspire Innovation Conference is an offshoot of EdLeader21, focusing on Innovation and Best Practices in Education, along with work around the four C's, Portrait/Profile of a Graduate, and Project-Based Learning (PBL).  George Curous is the keynote on day one and Brave New Workshop will be providing an interactive keynote on day two.  Cost includes small breakfast items, coffee, juice, and water each morning, lunch each day, and snacks throughout.
  • Design Thinking Deep Dive

    This is a 2-day Design Thinking Workshop run by expert facilitators from the Stanford d-School, K12 Lab Network. Participants will gain an understanding of the process and mindsets of human-centered design (HCD) as an innovation methodology, and apply design thinking to imagine new products, services and experiences on a number of challenges. After an introduction to the basic methods and processes of design thinking with a rapid cycle challenge, educators will engage in a hands-on, two-day immersive challenge on site to develop skill in the phases of design thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test.Cost includes small breakfast items, coffee, juice, and water each morning, lunch each day, and snacks throughout.
