Parent/Child Pottery Workshop Sampler


Parent/Child/Family opportunity for ages 9 and up.

This class is for those who love to create things with their hands. During this pottery workshop sampler, students will use a slab roller, extruder and an electric pottery wheel. Students will make a variety of objects for friends and family members. Students will also use a variety of colors to glaze their pieces at the end of class. The instructor will add a clear glaze finish and fire the pieces the following week.

Dress in grubby clothes. Class meets in Room A108 at Stillwater Area High School. Please enter through door 49 on the Performing Arts side of the building.

Craig Seath


Craig is a teacher in the Stillwater School district and has been working with ceramics for over 10 years. He has a studio in Hudson where he makes functional ceramic pieces with a variety of glazes that ebb and flow, inspired by the St. Croix River. Craig teaches both youth and adults through Community Education, as well as at his own studio.
